JOB FUNCTION: Provide excellent customer service


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Assist customers both in person and by phone with questions and selecting product
  • Operating cash register and (including all phases of cash control an credit card transactions)
  • Maintain a fully stocked storefront
  • Slicing product for single servings and samples
  • Light baking and cake decorating (i.e. “Happy birthday!” “Congratulations”, etc.)
  • Taking customers’ orders in store-and over the phone
  • General clean up, organizing of bakery area to maintain neat appearance
  • Follow all Company Policies
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work area
  • Prepping and working occasional off-site at events
  • Performs other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Good interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with others
  • Excellent communications skills including talking to management about any issues or problems
  • Ability to do overhead lifting and bending, including the ability to lift up to -50 lbs.
