To properly perform and work safely.                  
                                                    
  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Maintain accurate locations of inventory to ensure proper levels
  2. Consistently utilizes FIFO methodology (First In, First Out)
  3. Actively participates in Continuous Improvement projects and processes
  4. Rotates product for storage up to and including lotting and inventory
  5. Processes wholesale, and Retail orders (including setting up, quality control, and shipping)
  6. Verifies information on purchase orders (printing all incoming purchase orders on (BPCS)
  7. Arranges products in neat, secure packaging for delivery, organizing pallets with frozen pallets suitable for shipping
  8. Verifies and ships all outgoing materials including but not limited to Dianne’s Fine Desserts brand products
  9. Inspects all outgoing shipments
  10. Fills company requisitions
  11. Consolidates raw ingredients
  12. Demonstrates knowledge of all related audits, FDA, and OSHA regulations
  13. May work  Saturday’s for inventory purposes or as work is required
  14. May work in freezer on a regular, ongoing basis
  15. Inspects and receive incoming deliveries
  16. Complete all DSI transactions related to this position
  17. Enters receipts directly in JD Edwards/DSI systems
  18. Labels all pallets in warehouse with Date and ID
  19. Pulls corrugated/materials from inventory to supply production
  20. Breaks down and re-stocks all inventory returned from production
  21. Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
  22. Adheres to the plant’s HACCP plans
  23. Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
  24. Maintains a clean and safe work environment
  25. Perform other duties as required
     ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Ability to promote teamwork
  2. Must be able to complete all DSI transactions daily
  3. Must be able to work in sub-zero temperature for extended periods of time

  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
  2. Must possess good interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with others
  3. Capability to work in sub-zero temperature for extended periods of time
  4. Must able to operate fork lifts, pallet jacks, and electric hand trucks
  5. Must be able to operate elevator properly & safely
  6. Must be able to perform basic mathematical skills.
  7. Must be able to read, write and comprehend basic instructions and processes of the job in English.
  8. Strong attention to detail
  9. Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds during the work day
