PURPOSE -  Serve customers by providing on time and accurate Purchase Orders processing; product and service information; ensuring 100% Customer Satisfaction.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES –
  • Process customer orders received, fax, e-mail, or via phone for Food service and Retail customers
  • Manage the order life cycle from the point of new order to delivered and invoiced
  • Maintain organized filing for all customer orders, sales and marketing info
  • Create and organize customer specific shipping documents
  • Provide full range of sales support functions including requests for product information and documentation required by internal and external customers, distributors, and sales staff
  • Work with Customer Service Rep to provide problem resolution as necessary with regard to customer complaints, delivery issues, and management of product availability
  • Update Daily, Weekly or Monthly sales performance reports
  • Maintain and update customer address records including, but not limited to physical location, broker, parent company, buying group, etc.
  • Update and maintain customer price lists and system generated price rules.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES-
  • High School diploma/preferably 2 years college degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year Customer Service experience
  • Experience with a frozen food manufacturer, food broker, or related administrative field strongly preferred
  • Intermediate MS Office skills in Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • General computer knowledge and advanced data entry skills
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with others
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment (e.g. seeing job functions through from start to finish)
  • Effective time management skills
  • General Enterprise Resource Planing  system experience is prefer.( Order Entry and Returns; Basic shipping and order routing; Ability to interpret system generated reports based on business   requirements)
