Northeast Regional Sales Manager

The purposes for this position is: Responsible for overall growth of Dessert sales in region and attain sales targets and profitability; Also responsible to train, develop, and manage performance of dessert brokers in geographic region.
  • Achieve sales volume goals
  • New product roll out – train all brokers on new and existing items, secure placements
  • General management of brokers
  • Bids – work with and train broker bid specialist how to fulfill bid process and paperwork
  • Leads – forward to broker contact and follow-up to ensure lead was sold
  • Negotiate and monitor distributor marketing programs for return on investment
  • Develop relationships with key broker and distributor personnel
  • Manage budgets, funds, spending and financial aspects of region
  • Establish broker goals and evaluate and monitor performance
  • Open new distributors
  • Work food shows, training/sales meetings
  • Create and implement region annual business review; distributor business review
  • Minimum 5 years Business, industry, market, training, selling product
  • College degree in Sales/Management/Marketing preferred
  • Ability to work independently from home office
  • Strong communication skills-written and verbal
  • Strong negotiation skills required
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must possess financial acumen and sound decision-making skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Basic supervisory, leadership, management and administrative skills are required
